The Community Risk Reduction and Fire Prevention Division conducts fire investigations utilizing the scientific method to determine the origin and cause of fires.Timber Mesa Fire works with our regional partners as part of a task force in this regard. Our partners in investigations include the Pinetop Fire District,Taylor/Snowflake Fire Department, Heber Overgaard Fire, Show Low Police Department, Pinetop Lakeside Police Department and the Navajo County Sheriffs Office. Other organizations we work with include the ATF and NICB. Arson fires are diligently investigated and prosecuted. You can assist us by reporting arson activity to the Fire Marshal’s Office at 928-537-5100 Ext # 111.

Fire reports may be requested through the Fire Prevention and Life Safety Division by calling 928-537-5100. A Public Records Request Form must be filled out prior to obtaining the report. Applicable fees may apply.
